Hopefully reserved seats will be given to party that got people’s mandate: PTI chairman

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - PTI chairman Barrister Gohar Ali has said that hopefully reserved seats will be given to the party who got people’s mandate.

Talking to the media on Tuesday, he said that according to the Article 51, reserved seats should be given as per the won seats.

“It is violation of the constitution to give seats to a party more than the won seats,” he added.

Sunni Ittehad Council chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza said that the ECP had told a lie in court and their documents bore the name of SIC. “We were not allowed to appear I n the confirmation process and the ECP declared us independent,” he added.

Kanwal Shozab said that the vote should be given respect. “Reserved seats should be given to the party that got votes,” she added.
