Modi robbed Kashmiris of their rights, says AJK president
On August 27, Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan said that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had robbed the Kashmiris of their rights. Addressing a press conference with a delegation of British parliament, he said that the world had rejected the false narrative of India. “India wants to snatch the identity of Muslims in Occupied Kashmir,” he said. The AJK president said that a strong voice had been raised first time for Kashmiris. “I thank the international community for endorsing the stance of Kashmiris and Pakistan,” he added. He said that the United Kingdom had strongly condemned Indian cruelties in Occupied Kashmir. “The Kashmir dispute will be resolved through a public revolution. India is committing genocide in occupied Kashmir which is being condemned far and wide,” he added. The AJK president said the UN Security Council at its meeting in New York also voiced concerns over the human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir. He urged the British government to break its silence and raise its voice to support oppressed people of Occupied Kashmir. He said United Kingdom needs to play its due role as permanent member of UN Security Council. “Over 10,000 young people have been abducted from Occupied Valley and have been imprisoned in notorious detention centers of India.”
