Hot spell continues across the country

LAHORE (92 News) – Hot and dry continued to experience in most parts of the country on Thursday, with the mercury hitting the 40 degree Celsius mark. According to the met office, dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However, very hot weather is likely to prevail over plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, upper Sindh and its adjoining areas. Weather conditions are due to the change in the wind direction as well as the sea breeze coming to a standstill. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is likely at isolated places of Malakand and Hazara divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
