Huge blaze kills one in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – A security guard was killed when a huge fire erupted in an 11-storey building in Karachi’s Clifton area on Sunday. The incident occurred when a fire broke out in the building which engulfed the entire building in a short time, while the residents of the building rushed to roof the building and shouted for help. After being informed, rescues teams reached the spot and managed to extinguish the fire after four hours. The body of a security guard was recovered from the building. Sindh Minister for Local Government Jam Khan Shoro reached the scene and admitted that they face problems in extinguishing blaze due to lack of First Fire Response.
