Huge cache of weapons seized in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The Law Enforcement Agencies have on Friday confiscated huge cache of weapons during a raid in Lyari Phool Patti area. As per details, on a tip off the arrested accused, Sindh Ranger carried out a raid in Federal-B area and detained two persons. The paramilitary force shifted the arrested persons to unknown place for further interrogation. In another incident, four accused were arrested in a raid in Maripur by the police area and recovered drugs and weapons from their possession. Two accused namely Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Ahmad involved in street crime were nabbed in a raid in New Karachi area and recovered two pistols, three mobile phones and two snatched motorcycles. On the other hand, on a tip off the arrested accused, police carried out an operation in Lyari Phool Patti area and seized huge cache of weapons including rocket launcher, bomb, Kalashnikovs and 2000 rounds. The law enforcers have also held an accomplice of the arrested accused. Meanwhile, police have also apprehended five dacoits following a shootout in Karachi’s Pakistan Bazaar and Guzri area.
