KARACHI (92 News) – Human bones and faeces were found during excavation from Karachi’s Annu Bhai Park, Nazimabad on Wednesday. The recovered bones have been shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. SSP Central Arif Saleem Rao held the nearby private hospital responsible for the recovery, terming it medical wastage buried several years ago. He said that the bones were separated from bodies during surgeries and operations from different parts of sugar patients. “No human skeleton has been found. bones of different sizes from different parts of the park wrapped in clothes have been recovered,” he said. Meanwhile, Sindh Health Minister Azra Pechuho said that it had been practice of hospitals to bury the human bodies like this in the past. “Now students conduct practical on artificial bodies,” she said. On the other hand, the hospital administration denied the police stance. “We do not bury bones like this. We do not cut off body parts daily, it only happens sometimes. The cut-off limbs are given to the family of the patients who bury them. If nobody collects them, the hospital staff buries them in a graveyard.”
