Human tragedy has arisen in Palestine, says FM Qureshi

ANKARA (92 News) - Foreign Minister (FM) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that human tragedy has arisen in Palestine.

In an exclusive interview with 92 News, FM Qureshi said that there was no other option but to convene a meeting of the UN General Assembly (UNGA). "The US and other countries must play their part in preventing Israel's atrocities on Palestinians innocent people," he added.

"The sobs of innocent children should reach the ears of the world. Electricity, water and food transmission systems are being destroyed. The double standard of human rights must end. An immediate ceasefire in Gaza is essential," the foreign minister maintained.
