Pakistan will continue moral & diplomatic support of Kashmiris, says Pakistan High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit

NEW DELHI – The Hurriyat Conference leaders attended the Eid Milan party hosted by the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on Tuesday, 92 News reported. Addressing the Eid Milan party , Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit said that Pakistan would continue moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for right to self-determination. He said that Pakistan and India would soon resolve their mutual issues by shunning their differences. He thanked the Hurriyat leaders for attending the Eid Milan party. Mirwaiz Umar Farooq said that Kashmir should have been discussed during the Nawaz-Modi meeting. “Kashmiris support the Pak-India dialogues.” He said that Kashmir is still a bone of contention between Pakistan and India. Earlier, Syed Ali Geelani had refused to attend the Eid Milan party for not discussing Kashmir during the Nawaz-Modi meeting. He had also expressed grief over the matter.
