SRINAGAR (92 News) – The Indian government has placed Hurriyat leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani and Shabbir Shah again under house arrest to stop them from meeting with Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz. Talking to 92 News, Yasin Malik said that Indian cannot suppress their struggle for independence. “If India makes small issues a problem, how it will resolve the big issue,” he said. He called for resolving all issues through dialogues. Syed Ali Shah Geelani has asked Pakistan not to budge an inch on its principled stance. “We have been meeting Pakistani officials for the last 21 years and it is beyond understanding to declare it illegal now,” he said. He said that they had to raise the Kashmir issue at the international level. “We have offered great sacrifices to get our birth right,” he maintained. Geelani said that they would inform Sartaj Aziz about their agenda and strategy after meeting him.
