Pakistani husband moves IHC to halt Indian wife’s repatriation

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistani man who married an Indian national has on Thursday filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) seeking to halt the repatriation of his wife Dr Uzma.

In his petition filed in the IHC, Tahir requested the court to allow him to meet his wife in a free environment so that they can clear the misunderstanding between them.

He said that Uzma is his legal wife and she is under pressure right now.

Tahir requested the court to stop the repatriation of his wife Dr Uzma.

Tahir has made interior secretary, foreign secretary, Indian High Commission and Dr Uzma parties in the case.

The court will resume hearing of the case on Monday.
