ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Hussain Nawaz, son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has on Thursday reached Judicial Academy to appear before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).

Strict security arrangements were made in this regard as huge contingent of police and Rangers were deputed.

The joint investigation team probing into the Panama Leaks had summoned both sons of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Hussain Nawaz is appearing before the JIT for the third time, while Hassan Nawaz will appear before the JIT on Friday.

Talking to media, Hussain Nawaz said: "I do not know what the JIT is investigating here, adding that we have the same assets as the assets we had in former President Pervez Musharraf's tenure."

He said that he will come to the JIT whenever summoned, adding that we are responding to the questions being posed to us.

Moreover, the JIT had demanded the details of accounts in Pakistan as well as abroad. It had also summoned SECP Chairman Zafar Hijazi this week.

Previously, the apex court had rejected Hussain’s reservations and stated that no member of the JIT, constituted to probe Sharif family’s offshore assets, would be altered.
