I am not affiliated with any party, group or individual, says Chairman NAB

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (R) Javed Iqbal has said that he is not affiliated with any group, party or individual.

Talking to the media on Sunday, he said that eradication of corruption from the country is his national obligation. “According to the current survey of Gallup & Gillani the trust of 59 percent Pakistani people on NAB is the proof practical performance of NAB. Because of the effective following of Law in NAB courts 1194 were punished as per Law.”

NAB Chairman said that NAB’s overall conviction rate is about 66%. “Main focus of institution is on eradicating corruption such as money laundering on large scale, public fraud, assests beyond means and embezzlement in government funds."
