'I can give security to Nawaz Sharif but not guarantee of life', says Rasheed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed has said that he can provide the security to former premier Nawaz Sharif but not give guarantee of his life on Thursday.

Sheikh Rasheed said that Nawaz Sharif should return, adding that take as much security as he wants, including Rangers. "The Mian brothers are spoiling their own political work," he maintained.

The minister also said that efforts are being made to bring Nawaz Sharif back to Pakistan adding that within 15 days an extradition treaty will be signed with the UK. "Maryam Nawaz had hinted that her father was healthy. All these things are going against them. Nawaz Sharif's return can improve things."

Meanwhile, the government consulted on the court judgment regarding Nawaz Sharif. The prime minister assigned the task to the legal team as Farogh Naseem will review the decision and advise on future course of action.
