LAHORE (92 News) – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, remarked on Wednesday that she has come out for the country, nation and 'respect for vote'. Maram Nawaz said while talking to the journalists outside the Lahore's civil court. She came to the court for scrutiny of her nomination papers. She said that it is high time that vote is respected. “I pray to God that we are successful in our 'respect for vote' movement. She claimed that the PML-N will come into power in centre and Punjab after general election 2018. Before the arrival of Maryam Nawaz, strict security measures were taken and sniffer dogs were made to search the court room. This led to a protest by other candidates and they demanded that returning officer Asif Bashir should to take notice of the issue. After that Maryam appeared before the court, she was asked about her opinion or policy about terrorism. Replying to the question, Maryam said that all the political parties, the parliament and nation stood against terrorism. She was also asked that how she plans to resolve water crisis in Punjab. To which, she replied that It is important to protect water and the dams should be constructed. She was then granted exemption from appearance during the scrutiny process.
