DERA ISMAIL KHAN (92 News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has claimed that he had rejected the offer to become the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor and the Senate chairman. Talking to the media on Thursday, he said that the PML-N got a partial relief through Azadi March. “The roots of the government have been cut and its trunk has to be brought down,” he said. “During the sit-in, I was offered to form the Balochistan government, But I rejected the offer,” he said. Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that Azadi March is not a party, but a congregation from across the country. “Prime Minister Imran Khan is a victim of nervousness. Those terming the others as thieves are fleeing from accountability,” he said. He said that their movement would now extend to bazaars. “Protest demonstrations will be staged in each district. The government writ has ended and the institutions have also accepted the point,” he said. The JUI-F said that they have adopted the democratic norms. “Our protest was peaceful. We rescued where an accident occurred,” he said. He said that the country’s economy had destroyed. “The rulers do not know under which circumstances the poor are living,” he said.
