ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said on Thursday that he wants to become popular again in Punjab after his arrest. In an interview with private TV channel, the PPP CO-Chairman said that authorities had to prove his involvement in fake accounts case if they want to arrest me. “Fictitious accounts in Sindh and Punjab aren’t a new thing. If they want to arrest me in fake accounts case they can, but first they have to prove that I went to the bank and got an account opened,” he mentioned. Criticising the prime minister, he said the prime minister has habitual to speak more than need. He said that the government will face tough time before six month and would have to counter extremely tough time. Warning against burdening of common people, Zardari said that something will have to be done in order to prevent the masses from standing up in case of getting no relief. Speaking about the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Zardari termed that the anti-graft watchdog is defaming the honorable persons without proving their guilty. He said that every institution should keep in its jurisdictions as per constitution. The PPP co-chairman said that the poor thinker wanted to abolish the 18th amendment. He vowed to support Prime Minister Imran Khan in the emerging situation. “By and large, I have an understanding of the law...Every other day surfaces a milkman or a sweetmeat seller, and money is found in their accounts,” he slammed. “They have to first prove that I went and got an account opened, but that is not happening.” Commenting on Afghanistan, he said the big challenge in Pakistan’s foreign policy is Afghanistan. He said that some friends understand Afghanistan as little country but this is not in real. “If we give the respect to Afghani people then also get same respect from them.
