ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan said that he would not be blackmailed by the opposition, adding that he will never give the NRO.

In an interview with a private TV channel on Friday, he said that he was being pressurized for the NRO. "The opposition should decide whether I am a puppet or a fascist. The Army will support the government which will do work for the country," he added.

Prime Minister said that the Sharif family had made their houses in costly areas of London. "Nawaz Sharif had earlier left the country after striking a deal with former president Pervez Musharraf and still he is fleeing. I had told on day one that all opposition parties will unite," he said.

He said that solution to Pakistan's problems is very painful. "I was fully aware of conditions in the country. You have to reduce yours expenditures when you are under a debt. The PDM has an impression that the government will be sent home at any time and for this reason, it is on the streets," he maintained.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that accountability would have been difficult had they forged an alliance with the PPP or the PML-N. "It becomes easy for a prime minister to run the government if he gets a presentation before assuming it," he added.

He said that no one could understand the work done by them during the last two years. "I am proud of my economic team. The current account has been surplus for the last five months after 17 years," he added.

The prime minister said that his quarrel was with the terrorist MQM founder and there was no enmity with the MQM if it had dissociated itself from its founder.
