LAHORE (92 News) – International Cricket Council (ICC) Twenty20 World Cup will begin in India on Tuesday (today).
In the opening game, 13th-ranked Zimbabwe will take on 14th-ranked Hong Kong in the Group B encounter. In the second match, also in Group B, 9th-ranked Afghanistan and 11th-ranked Scotland will clash at the same venue later in the evening at 7.30pm.
The second round of the tournament, known as Super 10, will kick off on 15th March, also in Nagpur, when India go head to head with New Zealand in Group B. The other teams in Group B are Pakistan and Australia. They will be joined by the qualifying team.
The sides in Group A are: South Africa, England, the West Indies, and Sri Lanka. They will also be joined by the qualifying team.
The cricket lovers are waiting for Pakistan’s decision to play in Dharamshala as the country’s security team is visiting Dharamshala to review security situation.
