ISLAMABAD (92 News) - District and Sessions Judge Shah Rukh Arjmand adjourned the 'Nikkah during Iddat' case against the PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi until April 15.

The court remarked that the judgment would be announced as per record if the counsels did not appear on the next date.

Salman Akram Raja, counsel for the PTI, expressed his disappointment at the adjournment of the case.

On February 3, Judicial Magistrate Qudratullah had awarded seven-year each sentence to PTI founder and his wife Bushra Bibi in the case, declaring their nikkah against Sharia.

The court had also fined both of them Rs500,000 each.
