KARACHI (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Tuesday has warned that If anything happens to Zardari, govt will be held responsible. The PPP chairman took his twitter and expressed his concerns over the health of his father and former president Asif Ali Zardari. “President Zardari has still not been given access to specialist doctors and personal physician. Our family is increasingly concerned about his health. If anything happens to our father this govt will be held responsible,” Bilawal tweeted. Earlier, the PPP leadership had written an application to form private medical board for the checkup of ex-president. The application stated that doctors have pointed out Zardari’s severe health issues, adding that uncontrolled sugar level can create problems for him. Government doctors also suggested to get help from a neurologist, the application told. The PPP said that getting proper medical care is basic and legal right of every prisoner.
Asif Zardari’s platelets also start dropping
Earlier, platelets of former president Asif Zardari also started dropping at Pakistan Institutes of Medical Sciences (PIMS). A decrease of 21,000 platelets has been witnessed during two days. As a result, the number of platelets has been reduced to 90,000. On October 23, the number of platelets of the PPP co-chairman was 111,000. A four-member medical board conducted the examination of Asif Zardari in detail. Doctors have suggested medicines to bring the platelets to normalcy. According to the sources, the PPP co-chairman is being given insulin on daily basis. The physiotherapy is being provided continuously to Zardari for reducing back and neck pain. On the decision of the medical board, Asif Ali Zardari would remain admitted to the hospital for another two days. A four-member medical board headed by Professor Shajee Siddiqui examined Zardari at PIMS Hospital and advised against discharging him from the medical facility.
