If corruption is proved even after death, then take body out of grave and hang it: Shehbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif has said that if corruption is proved against him even after his death and then take the body out of the grave and hang it.

Talking to the media after the hearing of Ashiana case on Friday, he said that he had saved billions of rupees of the nation during his tenure. "The NAB-Niazi nexus has ruined the national economy. In the Saaf Pani case, innocent people were kept in jails for several months," he added.

He said that the government could not prove the corruption of a single penny during the last three and a half years. "We have been insulted after forming a fake case of 56 companies. Our friends were released after remaining in jails for several years," he added.

Shehbaz Sharif said that UK's National Crime Agency wrote letters to Switzerland and gave a clean chit to him. "Imran Niazi should look into his collar by leveling any allegations. Corruption has increased manifold during the tenure of Imran Niazi," he added.

He said that it was opposition's right to table the no-confidence motion and it would be tabled at an appropriate time.
