Zardari warns of dangerous situation if govt did nothing for people

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday has warned that if the government does nothing for the people, a dangerous situation could arise in these conditions. The former president stated during the telephonic conversation with with PPP leader Qamar Zaman Kaira. Criticizing the incumbent government, he said the ruling “party has been weakening the provinces instead of strengthening them. People sitting in the federation muddy every crisis in lieu of solving it,” he added. Asif Ali Zardari said they had warned of locust invasions a year back but the government didn’t pay heed. He also discussed the prevailing political situation as well as party affairs with the party’s Punjab leadership Qamar Zaman Kaira and Chaudhry Manzor. Zardari has directed asked party workers to stay united as good time is coming soon. The PPP co-chairman said he is not afraid of cases against him and that he will continue to fight them. “The leaders of current government don’t believe in any constitution and rule,” he added.
