If govt wants extension in military courts it should convene session: PML-N

LAHORE (92 News) – Former prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Monday said that if the government wants an extension in the military courts’ period it should convene a session. Speaking to the journalists, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader said that military courts were set up for two years and the period of these courts’ was extended for further two years.
Govt should brief parliament about NAP
The former prime minister mentioned that the government should inform the opposition why an extension in military courts is necessary. He also said the government should brief the parliament about the National Action Plan (NAP).
PM violating constitution Pakistan
Abbasi alleged that Prime Minister Imran Khan violating the constitution of Pakistan and the government has paralyzed the National Assembly. He said the country could not afford the ongoing conditions for the next five years. He said the opposition will review the steps taken by the prime minister and will take a joint stance.
Court’s decision exposed lies of PM, his ministers: PML-N leader
Earlier, welcoming decision of the Supreme Court (SC), PML-N leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Tuesday that the court’s decision had exposed the lies of the prime minister and his ministers.

Talking to the journalists, after the apex court granted bail to Nawaz, Khaqan Abbasi said the top court accepted the health of the PML-N quid in danger and had granted relief him for medical treatment. “It was brought on record today that Nawaz’s health is in danger. It was also brought on record that Nawaz never refused medical treatment,” he added.

“Despite attempts by the Punjab and federal government, the court has granted Nawaz relief for treatment. This has exposed the lies of the prime minister and his minister,” Abbasi mentioned. The PML-N leader asked the prime minister and his ministers to tender apology after exposing their lies. He also said that Nawaz Sharif and no PML-N leader never spoke and demanded the treatment from abroad. He further hailed the court’s verdict to grant bail to the PML-N quid despite attempts by the Punjab and federal government.
