If India prompts Pakistan, vicious reply will be given: Sheikh Rasheed

LAHORE (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Saturday said that Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi wanted to take revenge from Pakistan after losing election in five states. Addressing a press conference, Sheikh Rasheed strongly responded to recent tension between Pakistan and India following the Pulwama attack. “Modi has contributed to 70 percent of the chances of war,” he lamented, adding that after losing the grounds in five states, Modi has been creating war hysteria. Giving befitting response to India’s threats, the minister termed that If India prompts Pakistan then a vicious reply will be given. “Pakistan stands with the Kashmiri nation in its struggle for freedom,” he said.

Rasheed says Zardari’s fuse has blown away

Commenting about a likely protest movement by the Pakistan Peoples’ Party, he said, Asif Ali Zardari’s fuse has blown away. “He has lost his password,” he said. Responding to the Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani’s arrest, he said nothing has changed and things remain unaffected after the arrest.

Nawaz suffers illness after being ousted from power

Reacting Nawaz Sharif’s illness, he said, “The former prime minister suffers illness after being ousted from power. If he needs open air, Lal Haveli’s rooftop is available for that.” He added that these people suffer from such ailments which have no cure in Pakistan and can only be cured in UK. To a question about Public Accounts Committee (PAC) member, he said that he can join PAC any time he wants. “I am a member of the Public Accounts Committee and I am not attending its meetings by myself,” he said. Speaking about railways, he shared all land owned by Pakistan Railways is being computerised. “We cut down on our expenses and earned Rs2.4billion. The department has decided to launch two new trains,” he said. “Jinnah Express will run nonstop between Lahore and Karachi. The railways minister informed that an objective of resuming operations of 20 trains has been set by the department for the current year.
