KARACHI (92 News) - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that if they had 30% of support that 'Ladley' (favourite) got, the country would have developed.

Addressing a ceremony on Friday, he said that where the loan of Rs 22,000 billion had been spent.

"No public interest project has been done during the last three and a half years. The former government reduced the petrol price when it saw the no-confidence motion is going to succeed. A net was being woven against the next government," he maintained.

The prime minister said that the former government did not purchase LNG when it was being sold at US$3. "On April 11, the dollar price was at Rs189. The country is being run on loans. We will have to offer sacrifice in this difficult time," he declared.

He announced to waive 17 percent tax on the import of solar technology. "The move will save Rs four billion per year.
