IG Punjab Faisal Shahkar decides to resign from his post

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Inspector General of Police Faisal Shahkar has decided to resign from his post.

As per details, Faisal Shahkar wrote a letter to the Establishment Division in this regard. In the letter, he wrote that he could not continue working in Punjab due to personal reasons. “I request that my services be transferred from Punjab to the Federation.”

Meanwhile, Chief Secretary Punjab Kamran Ali Afzal's leave has been extended by one month. Chairman P&D Abdullah Khan Sambal will perform the duties of Chief Secretary till December 6.
