IG Sindh forms high-level committee to probe into Safora tragedy

KARACHI (92 News) – IG Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali has formed a high-level committee to probe into the Safora tragedy. AIG Ghulam Qadir Thaibu will head the committee, which will also comprise of DIG East Munir Ahmed Sheikh, DIG West Feroze Shah, DIG CIA Sultan Ali Khawaja, DIG Counter Terrorism Department Arif Hanif, SSP Malir and SSP East. The committee will look into all aspects of the committee and submit a preliminary report within 24 hours. On the other hand, the FIA Anti-Terrorism Wing has started the investigations. A three-member committee has visited the site.
