IGP Sindh Mushtaq Mahar, several officers go on leave over undue 'interference'

KARACHI (92 News) – IGP Sindh Mushtaq Mahar went on a 15-day leave over undue interference in their job.

Meanwhile, Additional IG Special Branch Imran Yaqoob Minhas also applied for a two-month leave. In the application, he stated that undue interference was made in the job of the Sindh police.

He said that the police officers and employees were disappointed and demoralized over the matter. "I cannot further continue my job," he maintained.

On the other hand, SSP East Sajid Ameer and SSP Sukkur Irfan Samoon also went on leave.

In total, eight DIGs, SSPs and SPs also applied for the leave.
