ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Ignoring recommendations of the Islamic Ideology Council (IIC), the Capital Development Authority has issued a no-objection certificate (NOC) for the construction of the boundary wall of a temple in the federal capital.

The CDA also granted permission for the construction of the boundary wall of Shamshan Centre (crematory ground) in H-9/2, which was earlier stopped in reaction to different groups.

A four-kanal plot was allotted to the Hindu community for the construction of a temple, Shamshan Ghat and Community Centre in 2016.

According to the NOC, the height of the boundary wall will not be more than seven feet.

Sources in the CDA said that they had not yet drawings for the temple and the community centre. They said that they had only drawing for the boundary wall of the Shamshan.
