IHC dismisses Ishaq Dar’s plea challenging AC decision declaring him fugitive

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has on Wednesday dismissed the petition of former finance minister Ishaq Dar to suspend his declaration as a proclaimed offender by the accountability court (AC). A two-member bench of the IHC also ended the stay order on the accountability court proceedings against him. The judge Justice Justice Miangul Hasan Aurangzeb observed that Ishaq Dar will now be arrested through Interpol. Dar had challenged the accountability court’s verdict of declaring him proclaimed offender.
