ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday granted 14-day protective bail to Suleman Shehbaz, son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in the money laundering and assets beyond means case.

Suleman Shehbaz appeared before IHC Chief Justice Amir Farooq. The court ordered to refer the matter to the concerned court and stopped the FIA from arresting Suleman Shehbaz.

Talking to the media, Suleman Shehbaz said that all false cases were made in the past and the drama staged by Imran Khan was seen by the world. "Now all baseless cases are ending."

He said that the case in NCA lasted for 18 months. "Shahzad Akbar kept going around there on Imran Khan's request. I and my father were interrogated. On one hand, it was the government and we were on the other hand. After 18 months, the NCA slapped Imran Khan on the face. It was said that no evidence of corruption was found against him. Not a penny was laundered," he maintained.
