ISLAMABAD (92 News) – A petition has been filed in the Islamabad High Court against Ethics Committee of the National Assembly on Tuesday. The petition contended that the National Assembly’s Ethics Committee formed over the allegations leveled against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan by Member National Assembly (MNA) Ayesha Wazir Gullalai is unconstitutional. The petitioner stated that the parliament is only legislation and the parliament’s time is being wanted by constituting a committee. Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, MNA Ayesha Wazir Gullalai, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, PTI chairman Imran Khan have been made party in the petition. The petitioner pleaded the court to give a verdict on the issue.
