ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday ordered PM Shehbaz Sharif to pressent missing persons on September 9.

Hearing the missing persons case, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah ordered the prime minister to ensure presence of the missing persons in court on September 9.

He ruled that it is a reality no one is doing anything. "How many citizens are missing prsently?" he questioned.

It also ordered the prime minister to appear before court in person on failure to present the missing persons.

"The state will have to explain the failure in performing constitutional responsibilities. The prime minister should also inform the court about action against the responsible people," the court ruled.

The deputy attorney general replied that according to a report, 600 people, out of 8,400, are still missing. "A lot of people are playing a double role in the case and they are on the both sides," he told court.
