IHC orders to remove all encroachments from Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to remove all encroachments from the federal capital.

Hearing the case pertaining to encroachments on Katchi Abadis on Friday, IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah ordered the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to demolish any construction crossing the line. He directed the authorities concerned to stop new occupation of lands in Katchi Abadis.

The court cancelled the stay order of those squatting land along Nullah Korang. It sought a detailed report from the CDA to provide basic facilities in slums.

Later, the case was adjourned for two weeks.
