IHC orders to remove Zulfi Bukhari’s name from ECL

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court has ordered to remove the name of Special Assistant to PM on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari from the exit control list. The bench comprising of Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani pronounced the judgment. Zulfi Bukhari had challenged the inclusion of his name on the ECL, praying it removal. The court had reserved the judgment on December 4. He was stopped from leaving the country as his name was on the black list. However, he was later allowed to leave the country. Zulfi Bukhari was on the Panama Leaks list due to offshore companies. Investigations are underway in the NAB. He has appeared before the NAB several times.
