ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court on Monday postponed its verdict on petitions by former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and her husband Capt Safdar (retd) for suspending the accountability court order pending the hearing of their appeals against conviction in the Avenfield reference. The verdict has been postponed until the expiry of the summer vacations. The bench comprising Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb reserved the judgment after the National Accountability Bureau counsel completed their arguments. Prosecutor Sardar Muzaffar Abbasi said the reference was filed in compliance of Supreme Court orders. He said the investigation team was formed following the apex court instructions.
