IHC rejects Faisal Vawda's plea to stop disqualification case in ECP

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday rejected PTI Senator Faisal Vawda's plea to stop the disqualification case in the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Announcing the verdict, the court declared that the ECP would continue the hearing of the case.

Justice Aamer Farooq remarked that Faisal Vawda had already been playing hide and seek for one and a half years. "Now he (Faisal Vawda) will go to the Election Commission of Pakistan, with the plea that the case is sub judice in the LHC," he observed.
