IHC reserves verdict on in-camera hearing of PTI chairman's bail plea

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday reserved the verdict on in-camera hearing of the bail plea of the PTI chairman.

The FIA counsel feared that relations with other countries could deteriorate if the content is presented in the open court.

The counsel for the PTI chairman opposed the in-camera hearing of the plea.

During the hearing, Chief Justice Aamer Farooq remarked that the live streaming of the case will definitely be conducted and the matter has been presented to the full court. "Why should the in-camera hearing be conducted when the verdict has to be made public?" he questioned.

On the other hand, the Official Secret Act Special Court has started the trial of the cipher case, issuing notices to the PTI chairman and Shah Mahmood Qureshi for October 4.
