ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday formed a new bench in case related to the disqualification of Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif for allegedly not declaring “Iqama” (work permit) of a foreign country in his nomination papers. The newly-formed bench has set April 5 date for the hearing of petition filed against the federal minister by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Usman Dar. Earlier, the larger bench of the IHC was dissolved after Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb excused from hearing the plea seeking disqualification of Minister for Foreign Affairs Khawaja Asif for allegedly not declaring “Iqama” (work permit) of a foreign country in his nomination papers. The matter was remanded back to Chief Justice Muhammed Anwar Khan Kasi for forming a new bench to hear the plea filed by PTI leader Usman Dar.
