IHC stops govt from harassing PTI workers unnecessarily

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - The Islamabad High Court (IHC) stopped the government from harassing the PTI workers unnecessarily.

The court also heard a plea filed by former federal minister Sheikh Rasheed. It directed the police to ensure presence of Sheikh Rasheed in court.

Meanwhile, the Lahore High Court (LHC) sought a reply from the chief secretary and IGP Punjab over arrests of PTI workers in Punjab.

On the other hand, the Supreme Court will hear plea filed by the Islamabad Bar Council against stopping of the long march. A three-member comprising of Justice Ejazul Ahsan, Justice Muneeb Akhtar and Justice Mazahar Ali will hear the plea.
