IHC stops police from filing case against PTI leaders in religious blasphemy

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Islamabad High Court (IHC) has abstained Police from registering case against Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf (PTI) leaders in religious blasphemy.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Athar Minallah conducted hearing on Thursday, he remarked that at the first glance it seems like these cases do not have to be filed. “First registering case satisfy court that how these can be registered,” he added.

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minaallah summoned attorney general for judicial assistance. The court has adjouned the case for next two weeks.
