IHC suspends disqualification order of PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday suspended the disqualfication order of PTI leader Ali Amin Gandapur.

Justice Athar Minallah has passed the order on the plea of Ali Amin Gandapur.

Counsel for Gandapur contended that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had passed the order without the procedure. "It could be fined Rs 50,000 after the summary inquiry."

Earlier, the Election Commision of Pakistan (ECP) had suspended the PTI candidate for the slot of the Dera Ismail Khan mayor. Workers celebrated the court order and distributed sweets.

Provinsional Minister Faisal Amin was also present.
