IHC to decide MQM-P convenership tomorrow
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) will decide on Farooq Sattar’s plea pertaining to convenership of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM-P) tommorrow.
According to the details, the court will announce verdict reserved over MQM convenership. Kishwar Zahra submitted nomination papers from NA-242 whereas Kamran Rizvi will contest from NA-243. MQM Bahadarbad Tafseerul Haq Thanvi submitted nomination papers from PS-105. Nasreen Jalil is also ready to contest in general election 2018.
Earlier, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had declared Khalid Maqbool Siddique as convener of MQM-P. Later, the decision was challenged by Farooq Sattar in IHC. Justice Umar Farooq had reserved verdict on Sattar’s plea on April-17 this year.
