IHC to hear govt plea seeking legal representative for Indian spy on Aug 3

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Islamabad High Court (IHC) constituted a bench to hear plea submitted by the federal government under Presidential Ordinance for appointment of legal representative for Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav against his sentence. According to details, the bench headed by IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah will conduct proceedings on the petition on August 3. Earlier, the Ministry of Law and Justice moved IHC for appointment of legal representative for Indian RAW spy Kulbhushan Jadhav. The federal government filed an application to meet requirements of the fair trial. It has been requested to appoint a legal representative for Kulbhushan Jadhav in the national interest. The government side has filed the petition under the Presidential Ordinance. The federation through defence secretary and judge advocate general branch GHQ has been made party in the plea. The petition stated that Kulbhushan, who was involved in several terrorist activities in Pakistan, has refused to file plea against his sentence.
