IHC to hear plea for placing name of Rana Shamim on ECL

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) will hear the plea for placing the name of Gilgit Baltistan former chief judge on the exit control list (ECL).

IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah will hear the plea on Monday.

Rai Muhammad Nawaz Kharal advocate, in the petition, stated that Rana Shamim had been an office-bearer of the PML-N that appointed him as Gilgit Baltistan chief judge.

He contended that Rana Shamim could flee abroad and his name should be placed on the ECL. "I have information about corruption by Rana Shamim and I should made the party in the case," he requested.
