Illegal appointment of ex-OGRA chairman: Court asks NAB to submit reply till Dec 3

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir gave the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to submit the reply by Dec 3 in the reference regarding illegal appointment of OGRA chairman Tauqeer Shah.

He was hearing the acquittal plea filed by former prime ministers Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani and others.

OGRA former secretary Sikandar Hayat Maikan, former executive director Javed Nazir and PPSC Member Shaukat Hayat Durrani have also filed a plea for acquittal in the reference.

After amendment to the third NAB ordinance, the court had postponed the matter of acquittal of former prime ministers Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.
