Illegal immigrants will have to leave Pakistan by October 31: Amir Mir

LAHORE (92 News) - Punjab Caretaker Information Minister Amir Mir has categorically declared that illegal immigrants will have to leave Pakistan by October 31.

Addressing a press conference on Friday, he said that action will be taken against foreigners illegally residing in Pakistan from November 1.

He said that the Punjab cabinet had approved the deportation plan. "Only those having illegal status will be deported," he added.

The minister said that over 33,000 people living illegally in Punjab had been identified. "Mapping is being done daily and they will be deported," he added.
