QUETTA (92 News) – PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PM Imran Khan wanted to turn all institutions into Tiger Force.

Addressing the rally through the video link on Sunday, he said that the masses are on one side and the selected government is on the other side.

"It is not a change, but destruction. We formed the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) after hectic efforts. We will not desist from our stance," he added.

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who is in Gilgit-Baltistan for the upcoming elections in the region, said: "I'm not a puppet and I don't follow anyone's directions. I did not make my manifesto with any umpire," the PPP chairman said while lashing out at Prime Minister Imran Khan and the current government.

He also said that the government employees and lady health workers in the country are protesting today. "We have to save the people from 'selected'. I promised that representatives of Gilgit-Baltistan will sit in the National Assembly and Senate," he maintained.

"Will Balochistan's people always be neglected?" asked the PPP leader. "No matter which province, the people want freedom and a democratic government. They want freedom from poverty and unemployment, to be able to think for themselves and breathe." "What sort of a democracy is this where the media isn't free and neither is the judiciary," he claimed.

Commenting on inflation in the country, Bilawal Bhutto said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has ruined the country’s economy. He said that the prices of essential commodities have gone beyond the reach of poor people.

The PPP chairman said tomatoes were being sold at a price of Rs200/kg, while the price of pulse has reached Rs300/kg, adding that the prices of medicines are being increased every week. “The poor masses are carrying the burden of incompetent selected government,” he said.

Bilawal said that those who are dreaming of breaking the opposition alliance will never succeed, adding that “we are not among those who back down from their stance.”

The 11-party anti-government Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) alliance is holding its third power show — this time in Quetta. PDM leadership blasts incumbent PTI-led government at Quetta power show.

The Balochistan government has deployed more than 4,000 security officials from police, Frontier Corps (FC) and other forces to maintain law and order.

Earlier, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Balochistan regarding the security of the PDM rally, in which it was decided to impose Section-144 in the city as well as ban pillion riding on motorcycles for the day.
