LAHORE (92 News) – Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany left for Saudi Arabia from Allama Iqbal International Airport after his visit on Wednesday. Punjab Chief Minister Usman bid him farewell at the airport. He thanked the Imam-e-Kaaba for visiting Pakistan. The CM said that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will strengthen after his visit. Speaking on the occasion, Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Abdullah Awad said that he was taking pleasant memories and love with him from Pakistan. “The people of Pakistan have given me a lot of love and respect,” he said. Earlier, Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Abdullah Awad called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at CM House on Wednesday. They discussed ways to promote relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah.
Imam-e-Kaaba meets acting governor
Earlier on Tuesday, Imam-e-Kaaba Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany met Acting Governor and Punjab Assembly Speaker Pervaiz Elahi in Governor’s House. Dr Abdullah Awad Al Juhany expressed best wishes for Pakistan and Pakistani nation. On the occasion, Pervaiz Elahi thanked Dr Abdullah for paying visit to Lahore and said both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are bonded in long-term ties. In this connection, Provincial Auqaf Minister Peer Syed Saeedul Hassan Shah directed concerned officials to make all necessary arrangements and ensure smooth flow of traffic in the concerned areas as well, for public convenience.
