MAKKAH (92 News) – Delivering Hajj sermon from Masjid-e-Nimra at Maidan-e-Arafat, Imam Al Sheikh Mohammad bin Hassan Al Shaikh has called upon the Muslim Ummah to be kind toward others in day to day affairs to have blessings of Allah Almighty. He said Islam has preached for kindness in dealing with parents, children, relatives and other Muslims. Sheikh Mohammad bin Hassan said Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) has described the entire Muslim Ummah as a human body, signifying that pain in organ affects the entire body. He said Muslims should eliminate hatred among themselves for having a better relationship of brotherhood and cooperation. He also urged the Muslim Ummah to eradicate hate from within, adopt to the true essence of morality and ethics, and strive to implement political and economical structure in accordance with the religion of Islam. He pointed out that Allah Almighty doesn’t like arrogance, and the Almighty has created men and jinn for his worship. “Muslims should choose a path of righteousness, strongly hold the belief of the unity of God […] whosoever fears Allah, Allah saves him from the fears of this world and hereafter […] O wise people! Ponder over the Universe and its system,” Imam Al-Shaykh Muhammad preached in his sermons to Muslims. “Human beings will enter into paradise by Allah’s mercy and grace […] and the path of piety leads to success […] keep yourself prostrate before the God and make a habit of reciting the Holy Quran,” he further mentioned. “He who strives to purify himself [from sins], Allah bestows him purity,” he stated, while urging Muslims to be obedient to call for obligatory prayers as it is an important pillar of Islam. He further said that indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to those who are kind-hearted, and it is by the grace of Almighty that people are saved from devils’ whispers. Sheikh Mohammad bin Hassan said Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) has described the entire Muslim Ummah as one human body, signifying that pain in one organ affects the entire body. The Hujjaj offered Zohar and Asr prayers together. They will stay at Arafat spending the whole day in supplication praying for welfare of Ummah. After Azaan-e-Maghrib, they will leave for Muzdalifah where they will offer Maghrib and Isha prayers together and spend the night under open sky. They will also collect pebbles from Muzdalifah to throw at Satin the next morning. After offering Fajr Prayer at Muzdalfa,they will leave for Mina for remiaing Hajj rituals. Chanting Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik, over two million faithful, are in Maidan-e- Arafat to perform the Rukn-e-Azam of Hajj Waqoof-e-Arafat. Earlier in the day, the annual ceremony to change the Ghilaf-e-Kaaba held in early morning on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, where millions of Muslims have gathered to perform the Hajj. According to the details garnered, the new cover has been prepared with estimated 120 kg pure gold, 100 kg silver and 670 kg silk fiber. It is classified as a work of Islamic art produced by top-skilled craftsmen. The cover, inscribed with verses from the Holy Quran, is prepared in Dar-ul-Kiswa factory, which was established 78 years ago. The gold Ghilaf, that covers four walls and the door of Kaaba, will be torn into pieces and gifted to foreign dignitaries. The government officials and foreign dignitaries attending the ceremony which started after Fajr prayer that would take several hours till completion.
